At Rotary Club Banja Luka Gloria, we decided to make this year’s leadership handover a little different. Instead of a traditional gathering, we spent the evening enjoying wine and a painting class, with Frida Kahlo as our inspiration, a symbol of courage, authenticity, resilience and the strength to be true to oneself.
These are also values we connect with Rotary: togetherness, service, solidarity and the commitment to leave something good behind us.
We were especially excited by the idea that our paintings should become more than just memories of a beautiful evening. We decided that, in our future humanitarian activities, we will offer the paintings for auction, giving the art we created together a meaningful humanitarian purpose.
During the evening, we also reflected on the activities and achievements of the previous Rotary year, while Stanislava Ligka officially took over as President of Rotary Club Banja Luka Gloria for the 2026/2027 Rotary year.
A new year, a new president, new ideas, but the same goal: to do good together.
